tantrums

we're having bad tantrums..T is driving me nuts that i'm about to pull all my hair out, including my whoo-ha hair.

It starts with a shrill Mick Jagger, NOOOOOOO!!!! to kung-fu Jackie Chan kicks to Ike Turner's slaps. It's just been really hard.

Do you have 29month old toddlers like that?

I'm trying to control him and tell him it's wrong. We've tried with talks, to naughty corners to bribing.

What works for your kids?

  1. I have actually had an elderly man ask me if my son knows karate! No, he doesn't but is basically a wild man! And he screams, "No, I don't like that!" it can be pretty crazy. I use standing in the corner... that works ok. Also, I use cartoons as a reward. Nothing works fantastically, but those work ok.... Hang in there, perhaps a glass of wine for you will help also!!!!

  2. Ok, tantrums. They're something that I cannot stand, but it seems every child has it. I've no specific method to deal with it. We've tried time-out corner, distraction, even spanking. Sometimes the method works, sometimes it doesn't. I guess it's just something that all kids will go thru. It's just their way of coping with life, an immature way. This, too, will pass. Cheer up! :)

Tks for yr recent comment on my blog, gal. :)
